01

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimal information necessary to provide our services. This includes: (i) information you voluntarily provide when contacting us or signing up for The Dispatch newsletter (name, email address); (ii) anonymous usage data through basic analytics to understand which legal content is most helpful; (iii) technical data such as browser type and page access times for performance monitoring. We do not collect, retain, or sell personal identification data beyond what is strictly necessary.

02

How We Use Your Information

Information provided for The Dispatch newsletter is used exclusively to send you our monthly summary of Supreme Court judgments and civil rights updates. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. Anonymous analytics are used solely to improve the quality and breadth of our legal content. We do not use your data for targeted advertising, profiling, or commercial purposes.

03

Legal Basis for Processing (DPDP Act 2023)

In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process personal data on the basis of your consent (for newsletter subscription) and our legitimate interests in providing accurate legal education (for analytics). You have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. Requests may be directed to our Data Fiduciary at the contact address below.

04

Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses only essential cookies required for basic site functionality (session management, theme preference). We do not use third-party tracking cookies, cross-site trackers, or advertising pixels. Analytics, if enabled, are performed by privacy-respecting, GDPR-compliant services that anonymize your IP address before processing.

05

Data Retention

Newsletter subscriber data is retained only while an active subscription exists and deleted within 30 days of unsubscription. Anonymous analytics data is aggregated and never stored in a personally identifiable form. We do not retain data beyond its utility to our public interest mission.

06
