Intellectual Property

The editorial content, design, layout, and source code of MYRightsIndia are protected by copyright. Constitutional text (Articles 1–395 and Schedules) is public domain. Our summaries, analyses, editorial commentary, and original articles are the intellectual property of MYRightsIndia and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without written permission. Educational institutions may cite or share content with attribution.

User Conduct

You agree not to: misuse the platform for misinformation or unlawful purposes; attempt to access systems or data beyond your user permission level; impersonate any person, authority, or legal body; or use automated scraping tools without written permission. Violation of these terms may result in access restrictions and, where appropriate, legal action.

Community Contributions

Contributors to the platform (legal professionals, volunteers, researchers) must ensure that submitted content is factually accurate, properly cited, and free from plagiarism. By submitting content, you grant MYRightsIndia a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, edit, and distribute the content. MYRightsIndia retains editorial discretion over all published content.

MYRightsIndia is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of these external resources and does not endorse any particular legal service or organisation linked from the platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MYRightsIndia shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform. This includes but is not limited to: decisions made on the basis of information on this platform, technical errors or service interruptions, or any unauthorised access to your data.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of this Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India. The Consumer Protection Act 2019 and IT Act 2000 apply where relevant.

Changes to Terms

MYRightsIndia reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the newsletter and displayed prominently on the homepage for 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
